A combination of distant horizon and close up meadow allows me to show you some basic use of perspective and some colourful techniques to paint flowers. A lovely project suitable for all abilities.
Materials for Spring Meadow
At least A3 or bigger, canvas, canvas board or mount card, primed with at least 3 coats of acrylic paint.
Acrylic Paints - I used these colours but you could use any colours you like.
White, Ultramarine Blue, Burnt Umber, a bright blue - Cyan, Cerulean or similar, Cadmium Yellow, Magenta, Burnt Sienna
Selection of brushes:
I used 3/4” flat, 1/4” Sword, no2 rigger, old round hogs hair brush.
